The Kawai K-700 is a 51-inch professional upright that combines the musical scale and tonal power of the K-500 with an elegant grand-style cabinet. Its raised grand-style music rack places scores closer to eye level and provides generous support for larger music books. A tapered solid-spruce soundboard, long bass strings, underfelted mahogany-core hammers, and front duplex scaling give the K-700 a broad dynamic range with a powerful bass, singing middle register, and clear, projecting treble.

Kawai’s Millennium III Upright Action uses ABS-Carbon components for fast repetition, precise control, and excellent long-term stability. Extended-length keys and NEOTEX key surfaces provide a responsive and consistent playing experience throughout the keyboard. The K-700 also includes agraffes through key 54, five back posts, double brass casters, a soft-fall locking fallboard, and a steel-reinforced keyslip and keybed.
