The Kawai GX-2 is a 5'11" professional grand piano that combines classic grand-piano proportions with a rich, balanced tonal character. Its longer strings and expanded soundboard area provide greater bass depth, sustain, and tonal breadth than smaller grands while remaining practical for homes, teaching studios, schools, churches, and performance spaces. A tapered solid-spruce soundboard, fully underfelted hammers, CORE system, vertically laminated treble bridge, and Konsei Katagi hybrid inner rim help the GX-2 produce a warm, powerful voice with excellent clarity throughout the keyboard.

Kawai’s Millennium III Grand Action uses ABS-Carbon components to provide a fast, responsive touch with excellent repetition and stability. Extended-length spruce keys improve control from the front to the back of each key, while NEOTEX key surfaces provide a secure and natural-feeling playing surface.
