WHAT TO EXPECT
Before your piano leaves our showroom, it receives a final tuning and action preparation to ensure it arrives in excellent playing condition.
After delivery, the piano will naturally need time to acclimate to its new environment.
Even a carefully prepared instrument can shift slightly as it adjusts to changes in humidity,
and temperature within the home.
Once the piano has settled in for a couple of weeks, you’ll be able to schedule your complimentary in-home tuning with one of our trusted piano technicians.
This final tuning helps the piano fully stabilize in its new environment and ensures it performs at its best.

Yes. Even when a piano is moved carefully and professionally, changes in humidity and temperature can slightly affect tuning stability. Because a piano operates under an enormous amount of string tension, even small environmental changes can cause the pitch to shift slightly after delivery.

We typically recommend allowing the piano to settle into its new environment for approximately two to three weeks before scheduling the complimentary tuning. This gives the instrument time to acclimate naturally and allows the tuning to hold more consistently afterward.
