This is a 7’6” Yamaha C7—a flagship model from Yamaha’s legendary C Series. Built in 1999 during the golden era of Japanese production, the C7 has long been the standard in professional studios, conservatories, and performance venues worldwide.
This piano in particular has held up incredibly well over the years. It arrived in excellent structural condition and, after a full professional refurbish, it now looks and feels like a new instrument. The cabinet gleams, the action is a joy to play, and the bass gives off the kind of tone pianists dream of—rich, clear, and full of sustain.
Key Features:
7'6" length – serious projection and tonal depth
Wide-tail design for deep, resonant bass
Long keysticks for improved dynamic control
Premium spruce soundboard and classic Yamaha action
Built in Japan in 1999 during Yamaha’s peak production years
Refurbishing & Final Prep
This piano was professionally refurbished in Japan by a top-tier facility located in Hamamatsu—the same city where Yamaha builds their finest instruments. The action was fully serviced, hammers expertly reshaped, strings cleaned, and the cabinet detailed to showroom condition.
Once in Seattle, I personally completed final regulation and voicing work to bring the tone and feel to an even higher level. This final prep ensures a smooth, consistent touch and a balanced tone across all registers.
