The Yamaha C3X is part of the CX Series—a line of premium grands introduced as a major redesign of the legendary C Series. Drawing inspiration from Yamaha’s acquisition of Bösendorfer, the C3X features a deeper tone, longer sustain, and greater dynamic nuance than its predecessors. Thickened rims, redesigned hammers, and refined scaling give this 6'1" grand a rich, powerful voice that easily rivals pianos far above its size class.

This piano was professionally refurbished in Japan to an exceptionally high standard, with action work, hammer shaping, string cleaning, and cabinet detailing all handled by a top-tier facility in Hamamatsu. This level of care is part of why we source directly from Japan—it sets a strong foundation.
Once the piano arrives in Seattle, we take that work a step further. Every piano is inspected, regulated, and voiced in our shop to bring it to the highest standard possible. This final stage ensures a consistent, expressive touch and a balanced tone that performs beautifully across all registers.
