Kawai pianos have been a staple of the piano world for many years now.
They are a very highly regarded Japanese piano builder with a reputation among pianists to be some of the best pianos in the world.
Kawai, much like Yamaha, builds pianos within a few lines with varying degrees of refinement.
The CA series for many years was Kawai’s highest level grand piano line.
Much like Yamaha’s Conservatory series, Kawai’s CA line was a representation of Kawai at their finest level.
This CA-40 is 6’1” in length (the same as a Yamaha C3), is very rich in its tone with a broad dynamic range.
The keyboard plays with ease and is very even in its touch.
We acquired this Kawai from our partners in Japan.
They refurbished this instrument in their Hamamatsu City factory (the same city Yamaha is located in) to like new condition.
